The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 starts to be updated to Android 10 with One UI 2.1

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 launched last year as the tablet is more powerful than Samsung with Snapdragon 855 and up to 8 GB of RAM, although obviously with Android Foot, since Android 10 not announced until a month after. Is now receiving the upgrade to Android 10 Samsung One UI 2.1.

The update arrives as plannedsince the calendar official update to Android 10 posted by Samsung late last year already stated that the update would come to the powerful tablet during the month of April.

What’s new in the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6

The update is starting to reach the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 although, as always, the deployment is progressive. In the repository of firmwares from Sammobile already appears the firmware for the Tab S6 with model name SM-T865in Germany, though probably in the next few days and weeks, the update will spread to more regions, operators and variants.

The update brings both the what’s new Android 10 as of One UI 2.1, as well as the security patch of march. These are the main new features highlighted by Samsung in the list of changes official:

• Best parental controls

• You can edit the modes that appear in the app of the camera

• You can add stickers on the calendar

• You can use ringtones in the event reminders, and other improvements in the calendar

• More filters in the application File

• You can copy and move multiple files to different folders at the same time

• Improvements in the keyboard of Samsung: translation, multi-language, undo, search for music on Spotify and access to Samsung Pass

• Improvements in Quick Share to share files with Samsung devices nearby

• Samsung Daily replaces Bixby Home

As always, the update you can take a appear in your tablet. You can check if it is available from the Settings or, if you are an advanced user and you find the firmware for exactly the same version, you can raise install it manually with Odin.
