The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 update to One UI 3.1 along with news from the Galaxy S21

The highest range of Samsung continues in its journey of updating to the latest system versions: One UI 3.1 has set foot in the Samsung Galaxy Note 20. Following the announcement that the last layer was being moved to a part of the catalog, the brand brings improvements to the camera, includes the function ‘Protector of the sight’ and much more.

One UI 3.0 is a big leap for Samsung mobiles since it not only offers more functions in the custom layer, it also includes Android 11 with the update. After the departure of the Samsung Galaxy S21 the brand released an improvement on the layer, One UI 3.1; version that later promised for a multitude of phones. And these have already started updating – we’ve checked.

1.5 GB update with a large number of new features

We woke up today with One UI 3.1: The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra are in the process of updates. In the case of the Note 20 Ultra, this update weighs almost 1.5 GB, maintains the security patch (it is not ready for March at the moment) and delivers a lot of news about the Samsung Galaxy S21 to mobile owners. Of course, most are minors.

Among the list of news are:

  • Calendar improvements.
  • Higher camera performance.
  • Screen protector for the screen and automatic adjustment of the color temperature according to the time of day.
  • Improved reminders.
  • Option to remove the location of the photos when sharing them.
  • The photo editor allows you to remove unwanted objects from the image.
  • Greater stability and bug fixes.

One of the drawbacks we have encountered is that of Google Discover: despite the fact that Samsung allows you to choose Google news in One UI 3.1, the function is exclusive to the Galaxy S21 and does not arrive with the update to other phones. In this version only Samsung Free can be chosen.

To update the Samsung Galaxy Note just access the phone settings and scroll to ‘Software update‘. In Spain it is already ready.
