Samsung has been updating for several months your phones and tablets to Android 11 with One UI 3, also in Spain, like this week with the Galaxy Tab S7. The manufacturer has no plans to slow down the updates and now it is the turn of a phone within its mid-range: the Galaxy M21.

Launched in Spain last spring, the Galaxy M21 is a mid-range phone that stands out for its adjusted price and its huge 6,000 mAh battery, the largest on a Samsung smartphone. This phone starts to update now to Android 11 with One UI 3 officially.

The deployment of the update to Android 11 with One UI 3 for this Galaxy M21 has started in India. It is not a surprise, because the Galaxy M range of phones has India as its main market, so it also starts in that country with the update. This update has M215FXXU2BUAC as its serial number and comes with the January security patch.

It is expected that in these coming weeks it will be launched in more countries, including Spain, where this phone was launched last year. Samsung has not given dates so far, but the update in India is stable, so the rollout should go smoothly.

The Galaxy M21 thus obtain the improvements of Android 11 and One UI 3. Among them we find new bubble notifications, the notification history, the possibility of customizing the call screen, better privacy settings, a renewed design in its interface, more customization options or better camera performance.

The update for this Samsung Galaxy M21 is being launched via an OTAso when it’s available you’ll get a notification on your phone. In the settings you can check the Software update section, in case you want to check if you already have an update available in your case.
