Every year Qualcomm launches a processor designed to be equipped in the high-end models of Android mobile manufacturers. Sometimes there is a Plus model at the end of the year, as has happened in 2020. The latest chipset that fits this description is the Snapdragon 865, and also the Snapdragon 865+.
One of the problems of categorizing mobiles as belonging to one range or another is choosing the parameters to do it. We can take the price, the materials, the memory or the processor. For example. And many times the latter is chosen.
The problem is that that makes us talk about the high-end of 600 euros and also of mid-range mobiles of 800 euros, which do not use the most powerful processor of the year.
The processor of the year, in my opinion, has been the Snapdragon 765G, a processor that has been seen in € 300 mobiles and also in € 1000 mobiles.
This makes selecting
the high-end for the processor a mistake, an OPPO Find X2 Lite is not the same as a OnePlus Nord or an LG Wing. The crux of the matter is that there are brands that have opted for this processor for their mid-range but also for their high-end (not normally high-end premium).
This makes it strange to see an OPPO Find X2 Lite sharing a chipset with an OPPO Reno 4 Pro that is worth much more. And it is worth it for other aspects, such as the loading speed or the camera. I explain it in detail in this video.

As you can see, to talk about the medium or high range you have to take into account more aspects in addition to the RAM, the processor or the build quality. In fact, it would be advisable to choose all the parameters at once, and see if they offer more than cheaper rivals.
