On January 12, 2021 it will be officially presented Samsung’s next Exynos processor, as the brand has confirmed on its social networks. Everything indicates that it will be the processor that we will see in the range of the Galaxy S21 at the beginning of next year. No further details about this processor have been shared in the social media announcement.
This announcement comes a few days after the striking short that the brand presented, where it was made clear that its own processors were not going to disappear. In the past there has been a lot of criticism for the use of these Exynos chips, which they would be worse than Snapdragon than Samsung uses on the American versions of their phones. So this processor has a lot to prove.
In November the brand itself made official a lots of details about Exynos 1080, at an event in your country. The question is whether this will be the processor in the Galaxy S21, or if this chip that will be presented in January will finally be Exynos 2100. The Exynos 1080 left with good feelings, promising to be a very powerful processor, but the absence of a Cortex X1 core was something that raised doubts about it. Therefore, it is not known if it is the chosen one in this range.
On January 12 we can get out of doubts and know Samsung’s next Exynos processor, which we can see in the Galaxy S21. The next high-end of the brand will also be made official in January, so the wait is short.
