Xiaomi pulled the Redmi K series out of its sleeve a couple of years ago, debuting it with the Redmi K20. Since then, the Redmi K have remained in China, but have been launched in other regions with other names and some cosmetic change. The next could be the Redmi K40, of which there are indications that could become the global POCO F3.
POCO has been trying to detach itself from Xiaomi for a long time, announcing its autonomy from the popular Chinese brand, new logo included, but most of its terminals so far are Redmi models under another name with some cosmetic change and few changes in the specifications.

Information is beginning to abound pointing in one direction: that the next POCO F3 will be in basically the Redmi K40. This is made known after tracking the model name of the Redmi K40 in the different certifications that are being carried out in other countries, such as the American FCC.
The logic is simple: the Redmi K40 launched in China does so under the model name M2012K11AC, which is being replicated in certifications in India, Indonesia, Singapore, Europe and the United States by changing the only letter, which corresponds to the region. The most relevant thing is that in these certifications it appears as a terminal of the POCO brand and in one of them the model is even indicated: the POCO F3. That is to say, the POCO F3 should be equal to the Redmi K40
.
This is not something at all unusual, since until now the vast majority of POCO mobiles have been Redmi terminals under another name, with the exception of the first POCO F1 and the last POCO X3. In this way:
POCO F2 Pro, is a Redmi K30 Pro
LITTLE M2, is a Redmi 9, Redmi 9 Power, Redmi 9 Prime and Redmi 9T
We therefore hope that the global POCO F3 ends up being very similar to the Redmi K40 which was presented in China, with cosmetic changes and possible small adjustments in memory and resolution of the cameras, although the changes should be minimal since it is technically the same model name. These would be, therefore, the specifications of POCO F3:
