Last year Google introduced many mobiles. To the flagship, the Pixel 5, we had to add the Pixel 4a and the Pixel 4a 5G. Not all of them arrived in Spain, but it seems that at least the company was clear that it wanted to create a proposal that was well adapted to each market.
In 2021 it seems that the strategy will be the same since, although a Pixel 6 is expected in the second half of the year, in a few weeks or a few months the Pixel 5a.
The Pixel 5a will have a dual camera
Onleaks has been the filter that has shown us what this new Google mobile will be like. Thanks to its popular renderings based on manufacturing plans, we can get a fairly accurate idea of what the new cheap Pixel of 2021 will be like.
As can be seen in the images, the overall design is very similar to what we saw in the Pixel 5, even maintaining the rear camera module with a double sensor, we assume that with a conventional angle and an ultra wide angle.
Being an “a” model, it tries to save on costs so almost certainly the back is completely made of plastic, as in the Pixel 3a and 4a. And it doesn’t seem like it’s going to be a problem if the quality is right. In that area, the conventional fingerprint sensor is also included, and we appreciate that it is not on the side.
On the front we see that the camera is housed in a hole in the upper left corner. And the frames are not excessive, although this is the kind of thing that can differ between the previous renders and the final model.
The measurements of the terminal will be 156.2 x 73.2 x 8.8mm, with thickness increased to 9.4mm in the camera module.
And if the Pixel 5a reminds you a lot of the Pixel 4a 5G … well, you’re right. Outwardly it is almost identical, although it remains to be seen what technical characteristics it will have.
The screen is known to be OLED and will be 6.2 inches, with FHD + resolution. It will have stereo speakers and does not do without the headphone jack.
