The Nokia 8 Sirocco starts to receive Android 10 in its second major system update

One of the consequences of the coronavirus has been the delay in updates to Android 10; in fact, according to data of Android Studio, the latest version of Google’s operating system this is only present currently in one out of every ten devices. One of the companies that faster usually update their phone is, precisamene, Nokia, which has recently published a new roadmap taking into account the above mentioned delays caused by the current crisis and the new releases of the manufacturer.

In this renewed calendar, was that the Nokia 8 Sirocco he had to give the welcome to Android 10 during the months of march or April, so that, true to its word, Nokia has announced that it will begin today to reach some countries, and in the next few days will be available in the rest. Android 10, therefore, is its second major system update.

Deployment phased and progressive

According to the latest roadmap published by HMD Global, the end of the first quarter or early second quarter of 2020 was the approximate date on which it would receive Android 10 the following models: Nokia 2.3, Nokia 3.2 Nokia 4.2, Nokia 7.2, Nokia 6.2, Nokia 3.1 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco. Well, once again, it has been Juho Sarvikas, Product Manager of HMD Global, who has officially confirmed that it is already available the upgrade to Android 10 at the global level for the latter, the Nokia 8 Sirocco.

As we have seen in the rest of the terminals Nokia that already have Android 10, this update brings to the Nokia 8 Sirocco all of the features and improvements of the latest version of Google’s operating system: dark mode native, responses, and predictive and suggested actions, new navigation gestures, and more control over privacy and security, etc ..

The update was released today but, as usual, the deployment will be staggeredso , if you have a Nokia 8 Sirocco, and you have not yet received the notice that there is a new version of the operating system available, please be patient because maybe it takes a few days to arrive.
