A few months ago, Nokia presented its first mobile with 5G, which to this day is still the most sophisticated model in its 2020 range. Its name is Nokia 8.3 5G, and it can finally be purchased in Spain.
On a technical level it is not that it is a very different terminal from many of its rivals. It has the Snapdragon 765G processor with 6/8 GB of RAM, 6.81-inch screen and 64 Mpx main camera. But the interesting thing about this terminal is not in the figures, but in the software.
One of the reasons we look at Nokia with great interest is because of its emphasis on a pure Android experience. Beyond the 100 GB of Google One that they give away for 6 months, the company has stood out for offering Android updates regularly, strictly complying with two years of major versions of Android and three years of security updates, being one of the factors of greatest interest. The Nokia 8.3 5G is expected to update to Android 11 before the end of the year.
The latest Nokia mobile comes in two versions, one with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage for 499 euros and one with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It can also be purchased through Vodafone, at a price that varies between 384 and 447 euros depending on the rate chosen for the 64 GB model.
