Microsoft continues to bet heavily on Android as one of the platforms to play its video game catalog. If last week the company made Xbox Game Pass Ultimate official in streaming for Android in Spain and 21 other countries, today we know another way to play console video games on our mobile.
The Beta application has been updated with interesting news that those who have a Microsoft console at home will like, as it will allow us to use our own console to play the games we own on our own Android mobile.

You can also play your Xbox games on Android with the new app
Microsoft today announced the launch of its new Xbox Beta application, an applicationthat has been redesigned from scratch. This new app stands out for changing its entire design, as well as adding new functions.
The most anticipated is Remote play. This function will allow us to link the mobile phone to our One to play all the games that we already have purchased, offering a streaming experience in which our console is the game server itself and in which we will not require a Game Pass Ultimate subscription to enjoy.
The process couldn’t be easier. Being on the same Wi-Fi network, we open the new application and click on the configure Xbox button. It will be necessary, of course, to have the Xbox One controller with Bluetooth, so if you have the 2013 One controller you may need a new controller to be able to use this function.
In addition to the online game, we will have a notification section to keep up with what our friends are doing on Xbox. We can also chat with them through our mobile keyboard or even join the voice chat, offering unified communication for Xbox One, Windows 10 PCs and the new Series S and Series X.

The new app also includes a new sharing menu, and when we take a screenshot or video recording we can easily share it in any Android application from the Xbox app. Comfortable, practical and simple.
New features are coming to the beta app. You must bear in mind that being beta, the app may have errors, but as it is an independent app you can have both versions installed to be able to test the news and continue using the main application.
