The new Nokia 6300 and 8000 arrive in Spain: simple mobiles with 4G, WhatsApp and Google Assistant

Nokia is one of the mobile companies that has been in Spain for the longest time, and although it does not have the prominence that it once enjoyed, it is still a company with a quite striking catalog of mobile phones. The new Nokia 6300 and Nokia 8000 rescue classic simple mobile designs and adapt them to the new times, adding 4G connectivity, WhatsApp and the Google assistant at a really low price.

Beyond Android smartphones, one of the key features of Nokia’s return to the mobile phone market is its range of classic phones. These models are a tribute to the past, with mobile phone designs from the era before smartphones, but updated to the new times.

These mobiles use a system like the one we saw in the Nokia 800 Tough that we already analyzed a few months ago. Instead of Android they use KaiOS, a much simpler operating system in terms of functionality and that in return rewards us with several days of autonomy. We have support for simple versions of applications such as Facebook, YouTube, Google Maps and WhatsApp, as well as the Google assistant in a more simplified version.

One of the great strengths of these Nokia is that in addition to having 4G connectivity, it is compatible withtethering, being able to share the mobile connection with other devices, such as a computer or a tablet. They have 4GB of internal storage expandable up to an additional 32 GB through microSD cards and a 3.5 mm jack port for headphones with FM radio.
