Few mobiles have marked as much a stage as the Nokia N95. We have talked about this model on previous occasions, although it was not an Android terminal, such was its impact.

The Nokia N95 was about to be reborn using Android
Three years ago we told you that Nokia was investigating the possibility of launching an heir to this model using Android. Then we didn’t have the possibility to see what the prototypes were like or what Nokia was looking for, but now we do.

The last chapter of the series is dedicated to the Nokia N95, and in it, in addition to talking about the model that was put on sale, he also had the opportunity to talk about the prototype that HMD Global was preparing under the Nokia brand.
Sliders everywhere
The most striking thing about this mobile was the ability to unfold to show hidden items. We have seen this in other more recent mobiles, such as the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3.
The design schemes that Nokia has published show us that this model went one step further, with four displacements. This would allow you to hide the camera, speaker, etc.
Juho Sarvikas himself, Chief Product Officer of HMD Global, has shared other images on his Twitter profile that delve into this design.
In them we see not only the enormous amount of movements that the slider rear of the mobile, but also the idea of incorporating an element that would serve as a support in the rear area, without using a cover for it.

Will we see a Nokia N95 in the next few years? It seems unlikely, at least with this form factor, more typical of 2016 or 2017 than 2020.
