The main manufacturers continue to launch terminals month after month and Motorola is no exception. But that does not mean that they leave out models from other years, which are receiving updates to the operating system.
The last to do so in the case of Motorola have been two members of the Moto G8 family.
The Motorola Moto G8 and Moto G8 Power are updated to Android 11
According to several users in Colombia, these two 2020 models are receiving the final version of Android 11. We are not talking about a beta version OTA or testing, but the final version.
It is striking to see how these models are updated before even other more current members of this family, such as the Moto G9 Plus. It is true that both models are on the list that Motorola published a few weeks ago, but there are also more recent models.
The presence of the Moto G8 Plus was also missed on that list, and for now there are no reports that it is being updated.
The firmware, with version number RPE31.Q4U-47-35, includes all the news of Android 11 and also the update of the security patches of the February 2021 system.
As for the system changes, when using Motorola an almost pure version of Android will be the same as we saw in the Google or Vivo models, for example.
