The launch of the Redmi K40 and K40 Pro is imminent: features and real photos

Although in Spain they usually arrive under other names under the Poco and Xiaomi brands, Redmi’s K series has become one of the most anticipated for Xiaomi mobile enthusiasts. Without having all the luxuries of the high end, these mobiles stand out for including great hardware without having an excessive price.

The launch of these mobiles is scheduled for February 25 in his native country, and after multiple rumors it seems that we can already confirm some of the key characteristics, since these terminals have just been certified by TENAA, the regulatory body through which they must pass. all mobiles to be sold in China.

The Redmi K40 and K40 Pro go through TENAA: key features

Just like every cell phone that is going to be sold in the United States must go through the FCC, every cell phone that is sold in China ends up going through the TENAA. The usual thing is that we know details about these mobiles a few days before their official presentations, and two weeks after their presentation it seems that we can see real images of these mobiles.





The Redmi K40 has appeared in white. The images reveal a photographic module that follows a similar style line to that of the Xiaomi Mi 11, but more elongated by including more photographic sensors.

At the level of technical characteristics, the leaks suggest that this model would have a 48 Mpx photographic sensor for the main camera, a 4520 mAh battery and the Snapdragon 870 processor, a high-end model that comes to be a polished version of the 865+ of the last year.





The design of the K40 pro would be similar in design and appears in its variant in black. In the photographs the photographic module is better appreciated, highlighting two lenses with great

prominence and a pair of much more discreet cameras. The main sensor in this case would be 64 Mpx and would incorporate the extremely powerful Snapdragon 888, as well as a larger battery that would reach 5,000 mAh and a 6.81-inch panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Both models are expected to have an AMOLED screen, as some senior managers at Xiaomi have already confirmed that the Redmi K40 will have the best AMOLED screen without curves on the market. Whether it is true or not is something that we will know in a matter of weeks.
