The Huawei Watch GT 2e is on sale at 99 euros in Amazon Spain

The last two years have been tough for Huawei, which has had to deal with the US veto and reorient its strategy. Although it continues to present mobile phones in Spain, in our country where it is achieving the most traction, and justifiably, it is in wearables.

At the beginning of the year 2020, Huawei presented new smart watches, among which was the Huawei Watch GT 2e, a variant of the GT 2 that was announced months before.

The price of this watch was announced at 199 euros and less than a year after its presentation we can buy it in half, 99 euros in Amazon Spain. Of course, in the Mint Green color. The red and black tones cost a little more, 108.86 euros. The straps are fixed, not interchangeable, so the chosen color is relevant.

A drop of this caliber could be justified in its quality, but it is not. Huawei’s watches are among the best for their autonomy, design and functions, although they do not use independent applications such as those that use Tizen, Watch OS or Wear OS.

This watch has been designed for sports, including not only its own GPS, but also the automatic detection of dozens of exercises. As if that were not enough, we can use it to control the mobile camera acting as a remote trigger and also as a music player, both on the watch and on the mobile.

Being able to store music on the watch and pair wireless headphones allows us to go out and do sports without the phone.

The battery is another advantage of this particular model, the one with the 46mm crown (the 42mm one is not on sale). Unlike other watches with the Huawei Watch GT 2e we can be far from the charger about two weeks.

Few smartwatches are going to offer us so much for this money. It is a high-end smartwatch but at a mid-range price.
