The Huawei Mate X2 is filtered: this will be the next Huawei folding

Last year several folding models were launched in Spain, such as the Galaxy Z Fold 2 or the Motorola Razr. Huawei is another of the brands that work on folding, it must be remembered that the manufacturer already has a model on the market, but that it never arrived in Spain. The firm is now working on its next folding, the Huawei Mate X2, which would arrive this year.

So far there had been some leak about the Huawei Mate X2, but none of this magnitude. Specifications have been leaked of the next folding of the Chinese brand, so this model no longer keeps hardly any secrets for us. A smartphone that will stand out for its power.

We tested the Huawei Mate Xs, a very comfortable folding

After its presentation we were able to test the new Huawei Mate Xs, a folding device that has been especially comfortable for us.

This will be the Huawei Mate X2

The brand will bet on great power in this new Huawei Mate X2, that would arrive with Kirin 9000 as a processor. This is the same processor that we have seen in the Mate 40 and 40 Pro, as well as the processor that is expected to be used in the P50 this year. It is Huawei’s most powerful processor so far. Together with this processor we would have a 4,400 mAh capacity battery, with support for fast charging of 66W.

This phone would arrive with a double screen, an interior 8.01 inch in size with a resolution of 2,480 x 2,200 pixels. This interior screen will be the one that folds in half, being possible that it folds both inwards and outwards. On the outside we have the second screen, 6.45 inches in size, with a resolution of 2,700 x 1,160 pixels in this case.

The Huawei Mate X2 will also stand out for its cameras, with a total of five sensors. One of these sensors is intended for selfies, and it will be a 16 Mpx sensor. The other four sensors will act as the main camera system: a main sensor of 50 Mpx, one of 16 Mpx, a camera of 12 Mpx and a last sensor of 8 Mpx. At the moment it is not known what type of sensor each one is, but it is expected that there will be 10x optical zoom.

There is no data on when this Huawei Mate X2 will go on sale at the moment, although it is expected to be in the first months of this year. We do not have data on its price or its availability, but we hope that this model will finally arrive in Spain.
