While we wait for the ‘quick phrases’ to avoid always having to say “Hey Google” we see how the Google Assistant has revamped two of its settings: ‘Voice Match’ and ‘Personal Results’.
Specifically, what the Google application has done is put more order, separating these settings by device type, to have at hand the phone settings and on the other hand the other devices in the home.

‘Voice Match’ is the function that allows us teach the Assistant to recognize our voice, and now it makes it easier to manage the configuration of all our devices. Now in the tab This phone We will see only the settings available for our mobile, showing the option to enable “Hey Google” on the lock screen and re-create our voice model.
In the tab ‘Other devices’ we will already see home devices, such as televisions, speakers and smart screens. For each device we can deactivate ‘Voice Match’ to stop recognizing our voice or teach the Assistant to recognize our voice again. The new recognition recording will affect all devices.
In the settings ‘Personal results’ we find the same separation. In the tab ‘Your telephone’ we see all the available settings for the current device and in the tab ‘Other devices’By clicking on each device we see the available settings, which basically the setting is to allow home devices to show us personal results, with personal information, contacts and events from our calendar.
