A few months ago it was confirmed that Google Assistant was going to be integrated into Samsung Smart TVs in Spain. This integration was approaching two weeks ago, when the assistant began to reach the brand’s televisions in Europe. Finally, the launch in Spain becomes official.

Google Assistant is going to be integrated into all televisions Samsung Smart TV QLED 4K and 8K of 2020, Crystal UHD, The Frame, The Serif, The Sero and The Terrace televisions. In this way, the Google assistant already joins Alexa and Bixby, which were already available with the brand’s televisions.

Thanks to this launch in Spain, the Google assistant is compatible with any Smart TV within the Samsung catalog that has been launched this year on the market. This assumes that the wizard is fully integrated into Smart TVs brand, it will not simply be compatible with such devices.

This will allow you to speak directly to the assistant without depending on or using other devices. You only need to use the microphone

on the remote control and then give voice commands, which the assistant will listen to and execute later. These commands will allow you to control the television (change channels, lower or raise volume, stop playback…).

Samsung confirms that users have access also the control of home automation. Users will be able to use commands to turn lights on or off in the house, access and control the thermostat, create alarms and other functions. In addition, it will be possible to see the weather or the news, because it is compatible with various Google services, such as Google Photos, Google Calendar or the search engine, among others.

After being launched in other European countries such as France or Italy, this integration becomes official in Spain. The Google assistant is finally integrated into Samsung Smart TVs, so that you can control them simply with voice commands, as you already do on your Android mobile or smart speakers.
