The Galaxy A42 5G arrives in Europe with Snapdragon processor!

One of the next Samsung phones that we should know in Spain in the coming days is the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G. This terminal was presented during the IFA, although at that time we did not know many details beyond its design. Not when it would be available, nor its features nor its price.

It seems that little by little we are leaving doubts, and it is that the deployment of the 5G mobile that aspires to be the cheapest in the Samsung catalog is already a reality. And it is a surprise for the most enthusiastic of the brand, since this is one of the few occasions in which we have the pleasure of seeing a Galaxy that will arrive in Spain with a Snapdragon processor.

The Samsung Galaxy A42 5G is official in Europe

One of the fundamental aspects in the Samsung experience is the use of its own processors, known as Exynos. Although they are processors of a very high level, many users prefer a good Snapdragon, since the best Qualcomm models sometimes come to have no rival to Android. And in the case of the Galaxy A42 5G, we see the inclusion of the Snapdragon 750G processor as the main surprise.

After discreetly presenting the Galaxy A42 5G at the virtual event of the IFA in Berlin, Samsung finally reveals all the details of this mobile. Beyond its processor, we find a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with a fingerprint reader integrated in the screen, in addition to being accompanied by four cameras (although two are of little use, those of depth and macro) and a battery 5000 mAh. Lately Samsung seems to be doing well in this section, with mobiles like the Galaxy M51 with its 7000 mAh. Keep going up.

The Galaxy A42 5G will be available from November 6 in the UK and Germany at prices of 349 pounds or 369 euros. It is expected that the price in euros will end up being exactly the same in Spain, reaching a price slightly higher than the current Galaxy A51 5G. As usual, it is to be expected that as the weeks go by, its price will decrease, which would make it an interesting rival against the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite.
