Having spent almost a year since its release in stable version, we can say that Android 10 has been a turning point for the integration of the dark mode in the operating system.
There were many users, not only in Spain, but all over the world who demanded that Android had a way with black tones available by default in the system. This was not particularly difficult to do, but yes, that was difficult to do well and, above all, to support all applications.
Google has taken almost a year to be able to offer their office suite, Google Docs, in dark mode in an official manner, as just announced. Yes, we had already talked about it, but it is now when Google confirms that it will come to all users.
Google Docs already has a dark mode official
After many months of work, Google has updated documents, spreadsheets and presentations in the dark mode Android 10. As in the rest of applications, these programs will be adapted automatically to the theme that we have selected in our device. That is to say, if we have the dark mode in the mobile, these applications open up with the on.
If we want to choose the dark theme or the light theme regardless of what you have selected in the mobile, we can go to the settings application and select it:
- Menu -> Settings > Themes > Dark.
