The browser Vivaldi 3.0 added an advertising blocker and web beacons in association with DuckDuckGo

It was in the month of September of the past 2019 when we were able to access to one of the pre-release versions a new browser for mobile, Vivaldi. The browser was then available for desktop systems, and it gave the jump to the mobile by keeping the design lines of its bigger brothers, and wanting to face up to the giants of the sector such as Chrome, Opera or Firefox.

Now, Vivaldi reaches version 3.0 and incorporates a more than interesting feature which makes the browser even more competitive. The browser incorporates a new plugin developed hand-in-hand with DuckDuckGo, the increasingly well-known search engine: a blocker of ads and trackers. You’ll be able to browse without publicity, if that is what you want.

Browsing privately with Vivaldi

As we have said, Vivaldi incorporates in its version 3.0, a blocker of advertising that is also doing the same with the crawlers, or trackers, what becomes our navigation in virtually private. Thanks to this new mode also gains speed in the navigation to the cut download in the background of banners and other advertising systems.

The blocker comes disabled by default though we can enable it directly from the settings of the browser, by going to Settings > Blocking ads and trackers. As we say, is an option that developers incorporate and that we can turn on and off at will. The browser has been developed in collaboration DuckDuckGo, which among other things provides its list Radar DuckDuckGo Tracker to know what code block in each case.

The horizontal navigation was redesigned, gaining space for the web site to change to move the toolbar

In addition to this feature, the new Vivaldi 3.0 redesign your interface for landscape mode, which now offers a wider width for the navigation by eliminating, among other things, the bottom toolbar, which now goes to the top offering a greater surface area for the web site that we are visiting.

To finish off the update, the new Vivaldi 3.0 has also redesigned the display of the open tabsto enable localization of each and every one of them when many are accumulated. Vivaldi remains a free browser and we can find it in Google Play.
