The best Huawei phones would return to Europe from the hand of Honor

A few days ago Honor presented its new high-end mobile in China, a model that is speculated that it could reach Spain and other European markets in the second quarter of this year.

It seems that the sale of Honor to a Chinese conglomerate would have served the Huawei subsidiary to avoid the veto imposed on the parent by the Donald Trump administration.

Honor has been a very well-regarded brand in Europe for its focus on the youngest, with very competitive price proposals, in line with what Xiaomi did a few years ago. Now it seems that he wants to make the leap to the major leagues.

Huawei could sell its P Series and mate Series to Honor

According to Reuters, Huawei and Honor, now as independent companies, would be in negotiations for the former to sell the most relevant brands in its catalog to the latter.

In this way, Honor could launch an Honor P50, for example, this year not only in Spain, but in all international markets. The same could happen with an Honor Mate 50.

Apparently, both companies have been negotiating the sale for several months, although they have not agreed on the amount of the sale.

Of course, a representative of Huawei has denied this possibility, although as you know, that does not mean anything at all:

The end of Huawei phones?

We do not know if this could mean Huawei’s exit from the mobile market, at least from the high-end, because it would be difficult to use the same nomenclature within China that Honor uses outside.

It is not clear that the firm will easily exit this sector since they were not in the same situation as, for example, LG.
