The app Google phone is compatible with more phones: Xiaomi, OPPO…

Although one of the most important features of Android is the huge amount of options within the Google Play Store, the company that develops the system, by Google, has many applications for the system’s basic functions, such as a photo, a map or a phone.

It is precisely this, the Phone app from Google, that in the last hours it has been seen that starts to be compatible with more models, not only with the Google Pixel.

Google phone comes to Xiaomi, OPPO and more brands

A few months ago we reported that the mobile phones of Xiaomi will have more pre-installed apps of Google, such as this Phone. Now we have seen that the last update of this app allows us to install it from the Google Play Store.

This is not the only brand that empowers you and, as you can see in the image above, the devices of OPPO and realme, that share interface of Android (Color OS 7 and realme UI are the same layer), allow the use of this application. Yes, the system warns you that the app is not compatible, but then seems to work fine.

The mobile Asus are also watching some compatibility with this application, as they feature in XDA Developers.

We will have services such as the SPAM-blocking available, or the recognition of numbers, that we are not on the agenda, although not as well as other unique features of the Pixel.
