Live channels arrive in Spain
This new function is currently reaching Spanish users, allowing them to choose to view the streaming content of the service or the channels with which Amazon has signed agreements to broadcast its live streaming signal.
It is obvious that thanks to this type of emission we will not need to have an antenna connection on a television to watch free-to-air TV, the usual DTT channels. Among them, those of RTVE, such as La 1 and La 2, or those of Atresplayer, such as Antena 3 and La Sexta, stand out. It is something different from the channels that have been released recently.
This new section, called Live, will be available on all Fire Sticks, regardless of the type of product we have, normal, 4K, etc. We will have sections such as “Recent channels”, “Live sports”, “Breaking news” …
Alexa routines arrive on Amazon Fire TV
Another novelty is the compatibility of the Amazon Fire TV with the routines of Alexa. From now on we can use these shortcuts that combine certain actions from the television.
For example, I use a so-called “Good morning” that what it does is tell me the weather of the day, read my agenda and turn on two of the lights in the house, the ones I use when I work.
In the coming weeks these functions will reach all Amazon Fire TVs that are sold in Spain.
