Surface Pro 8 sees new specs leak out: slimmer bezels, 120Hz display, interchangeable SSDs, and more

The September 22 we look forward to meeting new hardware from Microsoft. Among the candidates a new Surface Go that would reach the third edition, a possible revision of the Surface Duo, a renewed Surface Book or the one that more rumors covered, a new Surface Pro that now looks like new specifications are leaked.

We already saw how some data leaked last week and now the source of the information comes from a retailer and in which reference is made to the display, processor, connections and storage system.

The long-awaited reduced frames will arrive

Twitter user @Shadow_Leak has echoed information provided by a retailer in which it refers to a Surface Pro equipped with an 11th generation Intel Core processor that adopts a 13-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a few smaller frames, something that had already been waiting for.

A computer that, as expected, will arrive with Windows 11 already installed and that will also make use, according to this information, of two Thunderbolt ports and a replaceable SSD hard drive storage system that facilitates the exchange of units.

Of all these benefits, if in the end they are fulfilled, the reduction in the frames and the change in the connections is good news. The first because Today’s Surface Pro looks like a piece of equipment from another time when compared to the competition and in terms of connections, user complaints have been constant.

To all these benefits must be added that it is almost certain that the new Surface Pro will arrive offering compatibility with WIFI 6. Some indications that also point to some possible combinations:

  • Processor Intel Core i3 with 4GB RAM and 128 GB via SSD
  • Processor Intel Core i3, 8GB RAM and 128GB via SSD.
  • Processor Intel Core i5, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB SSD
  • Processor Intel Core i7 with 6 GB of RAM or 32 GB of RAM and 256, 512 GB or 1 TB of SSD storage.

We will have to wait another two days for know which are the products that Microsoft ends up presenting And if finally the expected Surface Pro 8 is accompanied by the Surface Go 3, a Surface Book 4, a renewed Surface Pro X and an updated Surface Duo.
