Spotify improves collaborative playlists: so you can create one

Spotify has long been look for users to share music with your friends. The popular application therefore has functions such as group sessions or collaborative playlists, which YouTube Music also recently incorporated. These are functions available in Spain, which we can already enjoy in the application on Android.

Spotify now changes the way it we can create collaborative playlists, making the process of creating them much easier. Or if we want to share a list that we have created with other people, so that they can also add songs to it.

This is how you can create a collaborative playlist on Spotify

The company itself has announced the new way in which they can create these collaborative playlists, in a way that is simpler for everyone. This new way of creating these lists will make it easier for you to share them with your friends or family at any time. The steps to do this are as follows:

  1. Open Spotify on your phone.
  2. Enter your library.
  3. Find the playlist you want to share.
  4. Click on the person-shaped icon with the + symbol (add user).
  5. Send the link through apps to other users.

These steps will allow you to easily share your playlist with other users on Spotify. This is something that you will be able to do only with those playlists that you have created, this is something important. If you have a list that you want to share and you follow these steps, but this list was not activated as collaborative yet, the application will ask you if you want to do this, so that it can be shared with your friends.

When you send said playlist to another person, by messaging applications or social networks, this person You can enter it from your accountEither on the phone or in the web version. You will have access to this playlist, being able to add songs to it if you want. By entering that playlist, you can also see how many people are part of it.
