Spotify is one of the most popular applications in Spain. The streaming application is continuously updated, a couple of weeks ago the option to create your list of five favorite songs was introduced. The application leaves us today with a new function, with which you will travel back in time, back to your youth.

Time Capsule is the name of this new function on Spotify. It is a smart playlist, in which the application collects songs from your youth, which you would like to listen to again. The application creates a custom list for each user, based on their tastes.

If you want to reduce the consumption of mobile data on Spotify for Android, there are a number of options that should be used in the application.

Time Capsule seeks to give us a fit of nostalgia, offering a playlist where we have songs released in the years we were growing up. It is an intelligently generated list, so songs will be added to it over time. The songs on this list are based on our tastes, what we listen to on a regular basis, as well as our age. Since they show us songs from when we were growing up.

In order to access this special playlist in the application, we have to follow these steps:

Open Spotify on your phone.
Go to the Made for… section on the home screen, where are the lists that the app creates for you.
Enter the Time Capsule.
Play the songs you want.
If you want to add some songs to your playlists, it is also possible.

Depending on your age and the music you listen to, you will see that this list that Spotify has created more or less adjusts to your tastes. In my case there are many songs that I listened to and liked years ago, so it has been right in this regard. Although it also shows many songs by artists from the Netherlands, since it is my current location, although they are not songs that I listened to when I was growing up. As this list is used, the application will adjust it more to your tastes.
