Although Sony has great prestige in Spain with many of its products, in the mobile business it is becoming less and less active, launching few models a year that, if they offer good quality, do not always stand out as they should.

However, those who are looking for a mobile with a unique design and easy to handle, the Sony line follows a unique design that, at times, sins of continuity. The well-known filter OnLeaks has published images about the next Sony mid-range, a terminal without many changes.

If you have the Sony Xperia 10 II in mind, you will most likely think that the images we are publishing are about said mobile. A couple of generations ago, Sony completely changed its design line, and it seems that this year it will follow that same style.

We have a 6-inch screen, but it is still a very compact mobile with an aspect ratio of 21: 9 (the narrower the aspect ratio, the smaller a screen with the same number of inches, question of trigonometry). Its measurements would be 154.4 x 68.4 x 8.3mm, being narrower than the Pixel 4A, although a centimeter higher.

The design maintains the same proportion of the screen on the front, without notch or hole for the screen. The frames are more visible than in the rest of the competitors’ phones, but it makes up for it with a double front speaker. It would also keep the headphone jack, an aspect that for Sony is of great importance.

The only noticeable change visually is on the right side. In addition to the volume buttons and the fingerprint reader on the power button, the Xperia 10 III includes a dedicated physical button for the camera, a button already known in Sony phones that for some reason was not in the previous generation.

One of our fears with the third-generation Xperia 10s is update support. When we learned about Sony’s update plans to Android 11 we were disappointed that only the Xperia 10 II updated in the mid-range, which makes us think that the Xperia 10 III would arrive with Android 11, it would receive an update to Android 12 and there we would see
