Android 11 is the latest version of Android available in Spain, and as the months go by we discover the update plans of each of the Android manufacturers. Sony is among the last to state its upgrade plans, but the company already seems to have an idea of upgrade dates for the models it will upgrade, as well as their estimated dates for each of them.
Although the list of phones that will be updated is quite brief, it is not that the catalog of phones that Sony has published in recent months is much more extensive. In addition to these models, Sony presented the Xperia L4 in 2020, a mobile that remains without major updates. Last year the Xperia 10 and 10 Plus were also left out, as well as the lower-budget Xperia L3. A reminder to avoid the Xperia 10 II, which except for surprise this will be its first and last major update, as well as the L.
In the case of the higher-end, it is also bittersweet that the Xperia XZ3 and XZ2 from 2018 are left out of the update cycle. Little by little, Sony seems to be focusing more and more on its more premium range, so updating its 2011 models would have been a great added value of durability, just as Samsung has done with the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 onwards.
The entry Sony phones that will update to Android 11 and their dates: only one mobile will update in 2020 appears first in The Free Android.
