Self-destructing messages are coming to WhatsApp soon

WhatsApp engineers have been working hard for a few months. There are few weeks that we do not hear about some news that are in development and few months in which we do not see an acceptably notable change within the application. The last one being talked about is the inclusion of messages that self-destruct, as we have seen in other instant messaging applications.

Soon you will be able to have WhatsApp on several devices at the same time, even with your mobile turned off

The WHatsApp application is already preparing to add multi-device support, being able to use our account on the PC even with the mobile turned off.

How self-destructing messages will work

We do not know what the company’s official approach will be for these types of messages, but we do begin to have an idea of ​​how they work.

We can send text, images and even animated GIFS to any of our contacts with this new type of delivery. He will see it as a normal message but as soon as you leave the chat it will be deleted

These types of messages will appear differently in the chat so that we know that, when we leave it, they will disappear.

We might think that these types of messages are suitable for certain confessions or messages of which we do not want records, but it would always be possible to take a screenshot or photo of the mobile so be careful with what you share.

At the moment we do not know when this function will be operational in the beta or stable versions but we do know that in the latest version of the app there is already code that has been designed for it.
