Augmented and virtual reality have been with us for a long time, but they have not yet made the leap to be technologies for mass consumption. They may never have the impact of smartphones or smart speakers, but as of today, they are far from even a niche technology.
That could change in the coming years as we know that Apple is working on a model. And it is not the only one.
Filtered the Samsung Glasses Lite and Glasses AR
Thanks to WalkingCat we have been able to see two videos of what will be Samsung’s new augmented reality glasses, the Samsung Glasses Lite and Glasses AR.

These products have not been announced yet, but their videos show us a very interesting product, although there is no guarantee that they will be presented, at least in a short time.
A different screen
In the two videos we see how these glasses are used as two different devices.
The Samsung Glasses Lite they are a personal screen rather than an information projection system in the real world, as Microsoft’s Hololens do.
However, the Samsung Glasses AR do work that way, being able to even interact with the environment using their hands, in a similar way to how we have seen in movies like Minority Report.

Thanks to this technology we could do without monitors and televisions, and through the wireless connection use our smartphone or tablet as the brain of the system and the glasses as a projector panel.
In one of the videos we see DeX, Samsung’s desktop interface, an interesting option to work from your mobile with a keyboard and mouse.
At the moment there is no news that Samsung is going to commercialize this type of product, at least soon. Let’s recall the first foldable device videos that we saw many years ago, and that didn’t become real until a long time later.
The entry Samsung’s augmented reality glasses have been leaked: Glasses Lite and Glasses AR appear first in The Free Android.
