Along with the Samsung Galaxy S21 and the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro headphones, the Korean firm has presented a new accessory, the Samsung SmartTags and SmartTags +. These small pieces in the shape of a keychain are used to locate any object to which we hook it.

Although Apple was expected to present a similar device, it was Samsung that first launched its Samsung SmartTags and SmartTags +, small elements that can be tracked from an application from our mobile.
In this way we can locate a suitcase, a pet or our wallet, even if they do not have a labeling system.
There will be two models. The Samsung SmartTags will work via bluetooth and can be located if we are in range, but they can also use the connectivity of other Samsung Galaxy to increase the perimeter. The data used will be encrypted as expected.
The Samsung SmartTags + have also been presented, which to these functions add the UWB connectivity present in the Galaxy S21. This will allow us to search our accessories in a much more precise way, using an augmented reality interface on the mobile, which will guide us much more precisely.
Both can sound if we want it, and its battery lasts several months.
Price and availability
Samsung SmartTags will go on sale in a few weeks at a price starting at $ 29. The two-unit pack will cost $ 49.
