Samsung Galaxy M31 and Galaxy Tab S7 update to Android 11 1

Samsung has been slow to start updating its terminals to Android 11 somewhat longer than other manufacturers, at least in Spain. However, it seems that it is taking a certain speed because if yesterday we were talking about the new firmware of the Galaxy Fold, today it is the turn not of one, but two more terminals.

The mid-range Galaxy M31 receives Android 11

One of the mobiles that we thought would take longer to start receiving Android 11 is the Samsung Galaxy M31, a mid-range that has started to receive the new OTA in India, although we should also see it in other markets shortly. In fact, we were able to test it when it was put on sale in Spain, in May of last year.

Firmware has build number M315FXXU2BUAC and in addition to Android 11 and One UI 3.0 it includes the security patch for January 2021, the last available.

The Galaxy Tab S7 is also updated

The second product that has begun to be updated is not a mobile phone, but a tablet. We refer to the Galaxy Tab S7. And we say it in the plural because both the S7 and S7 + models are being updated.

Specifically, the Galaxy Tab S7 4G, Galaxy Tab S7 + 4G and Galaxy Tab S7 + 5G with number of versions T875NKOU1BUA8, T975NKOU1BUA8, andT976NKOU1BUA8.

The most curious thing is that they are receiving Android 11 but not with One UI 3.0, but with the latest version available, 3.1 that the Gaalxy S21 family has released a few days ago.

At the moment this update is arriving in Samsung’s native country, South Korea, so it could take a few weeks to see them in Spain.

The entry The Samsung Galaxy M31 and the Galaxy Tab S7 are updated to Android 11 appears first in The Free Android.
