The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G is a new premium mid-range that has the privilege of being the first mobile of the Galaxy A series with a 120 Hz screen. In addition, it improves the cameras and incorporates faster fast charging, among other changes.

120 Hz display
Over time, Samsung has introduced a good number of models in its Galaxy A series, ranging from the simple Galaxy A02 to models in the thin line that separates the mid-range from the high-end. One of the main advantages of the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G is its screen, which covers a good percentage of the front, is flat, AMOLED and with Full HD + resolution. The novelty is that the refresh rate reaches 120 Hz.
It is not the first mobile of the A series to increase the refresh rate beyond the usual 60 Hz (it was the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G), but it is the first to reach 120 Hz. The screen is once again perforated to incorporate the camera frontal. The fingerprint reader is for its part under its surface.
More megapixels for the camera
In the photographic field, the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G incorporates a 32 megapixel front camera and with aperture of f / 2.2 and a rear camera with four lenses, with a configuration not very different from the one present in the previous generation, in the Galaxy A51.
We once again have a quad camera and in a module with a similar design, although this time it adopts the same color of the terminal. The main novelty of this generation is that the main sensor goes up to the 64 megapixel resolution and with aperture f / 1.8.
It is accompanied by a 12 megapixel wide angle, a 5 megapixel macro sensor and a fourth 5 megapixel sensor for portrait mode. There is no telephoto sensor, like in the Galaxy A72, so we stayed at 3x digital zoom.
More memory and faster loading
In terms of performance, the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G incorporates an unspecified octa-core processor at up to 2.2 GHz, which could be a Exynos 980 or a Snapdragon 750G. In addition to having the latest in connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G increases the available memory considerably, with versions with 6 and 8 GB of RAM, and 128 and 256 GB of storage, expandable via MicroSD.
On the battery, the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G gains some capacity compared to the previous generation, reaching 4,500 mAh, which, according to the company, gives juice for up to two days of use. In addition, support is included for 25W fast charge.
Other details of the Samsung Galaxy A52 include the presence of stereo speakers, IP67 certification resistance to water and dust and the classic minijack for headphones, at the bottom of the terminal.
