Samsung introduces Google Discover and Messages in One UI 3.1
One UI 3.1 is the new version of this interface from Samsung, which comes first with the Galaxy S21. There are some changes at the interface and functions level, but two Google applications are the ones that take center stage in this new version of the brand’s interface. Google Discover and Google Messages are installed by default.
The left panel on the Samsung mobile desktop was normally occupied by the brand’s own feed: Samsung Daily, which became Free UI in the previous version of the brand’s interface (3.0). Although there have been rumors for weeks on introducing Google Discover in this new version, something that becomes official in these new Galaxy S21.
As well Google Messages comes installed natively on phones with One UI 3.1 now. The Google application is installed, although this does not mean that Samsung’s own application, which also has support for RCS, has been removed. Both are available on phones, allowing the user to choose the application they want to use.
