Although in Spain Google is known for its search engine and its email manager, there are a large number of applications, many of them for productivity, that help us on a day-to-day basis.
One of them is is Chores, a very simple app that allows us to manage what we have to do in a list in which we can mark an errand as done, disappearing from the list. It works in a very similar way to Google’s own Shopping List.
This functionality was integrated into Google Calendar months ago, but we could only use it through the web version. Today it comes to Android, despite the fact that there were signs of this novelty for almost a year.
After an update of both the Google and G Suite accounts, we can create new tasks from the calendar creation menu. To do this, click on the button with + symbol and we choose Chores.
Within the settings we can modify the color in which the tasks are presented, so that it is easier to see them at a glance. We can also modify whether or not they can send us notifications, as we see them from the reminders that we can also manage from here.
Finally, we can choose not to put a specific date so that it will not appear on the calendar but will appear on the task list of the Google application itself.
We already had all these options in the exclusive application that we linked above, but now we have them integrated into the Calendar, making it more convenient to use it without requiring another app.
