Realme will raise the price of their phones, and that should not surprise

When a market charges interest for many companies, such as that of mobile telephony, it does so because it is possible to make money in it. Thus, brands try to sell the largest number of mobiles, but also to obtain the highest percentage of profits from each sale.

When there are many competing brands, it is a matter of time before one is positioned as the economic one. In recent years we have seen it in Spain with Xiaomi or OnePlus, although it is true that little by little they have raised the price of their mobiles.

Before, we also saw it in a now defunct manufacturer, BQ. And now it’s the turn of realme, which today is possibly the star in Spain when it comes to prices.

The company confirms that its best mobiles will cost more

In an interview with Android Authority, the CEO of realme in Europe and India, Madhav Sheth, has confirmed that there will be more expensive models this year. Specifically, he was asked if there will be a premium range mobile in realme, to which he answered affirmatively, just not this year.

He also said that there will be models in this 2021 that will cost 600 or 700 dollars, which is more than any model marketed by the company so far.

This indicates that the best mobiles of the company will be more expensive although it does not imply that there are no mid-range mobiles with good value for money.

One reason could be 5G and is that the company wants to launch models with this connectivity in all price ranges and this would increase costs.

The first could be the Realme Race Pro

Moving on to the land of leaks and rumors, it is possible that one of the first realme phones that we see with higher prices is the Realme Race Pro, a terminal that is expected to have a 2K screen with a refresh rate of more than 120 Hz, the Snapdragon 888 as a processor and a high-quality triple camera.

As if that were not enough, it would come with a fast charge of 125 W, the most powerful seen so far. Obviously, if a terminal like this ends up costing around 800 euros, it would be seen as normal.

The Realme entry will raise the price of your mobiles, and that should come as no surprise to appear first on The Free Android.
