It has been a long time since Realme got on the train of audio accessories to accompany the rest of your devices, and there are already several options that we find in its catalog when looking for wireless audio, all in TWS or ‘True Wireless System’ mode.
The new Realme Buds Air 2 Neo, with a very compact design, come to complete the second generation that already started the Realme Buds Air 2 and they do it with somewhat more modest specifications and a cut price.
The new Realme Buds Air 2 Neo hit the market sporting a plastic body and two color options. One in black with the name ‘Active Black’ and the other in a light gray, almost white, color ‘Calm Gray’. The headphones match the transport and charging box and only have a color variation on the side surface, which also it is tactile to interact with them.
The Realme Buds Air 2 Neo offer active noise cancellation and promise to be able to attenuate up to 25 decibels of external noise thanks to the Realme R2 chip already showcased by regular Realme Buds Air 2. They have, by the way, a total autonomy (including the loads of the transport and storage box) of 25 hours without noise cancellation, and 20 hours with active cancellation.

In the sound section we find 10-millimeter drivers coated with what the brand calls a ‘liquid crystal polymer’. Offer a minimum latency of 88 milliseconds with the ‘gaming mode’ active and they are compatible with Bluetooth 5.2 devices. Regarding supported audio codecs, they are only compatible with AAC HD sound in addition to SBC. The new Realme Buds Air 2 Neo resist splashes of water and sweat thanks to the IPX5 certification.
As we have mentioned, the new Realme Buds Air 2 Neo arrive in black and gray and put their foot on the market starting from Pakistan. There the brand sells them at a price of 8,000 Pakistani rupees, which translates into approximately 44 euros to change. We will be attentive in case they finally arrive in Europe.
