This year the entry range of smartphones is more interesting than ever with terminals like the recently presented realme 7i that we can buy in Spain for € 159 (or € 149 if we take advantage of the promotion until December 23). This model from realme directly rivals the POCO M3 or the Redmi 9. Three smartphones in the line of 149 euros and with much to offer.
Not all users are willing to spend ‘thousand euros’ on a smartphone, and due to its actual use they may not need it. Today we have tremendously capable mobiles at very affordable prices, with huge batteries to last the whole day, multiple cameras and high quality screens.
149 euros go a long way
realme has had great growth in Spain in 2020 in all its ranges, and to say goodbye to the year they have presented the realme 7i with the aim of maintaining the success of its 7 series and offering a gaming smartphone with a very contained price and a huge battery to hold it all.
In the realme 7i we find a 6,000 mAh capacity battery and this, in particular, is its great strength compared to the competition with the redmi 9 (5,020 mAh) and equaled with the Poco M3.
In addition, fast fast charging has also reached these ranges and we have the possibility of charging at 18W to recover the maximum possible energy in a short time, both to continue with our day, as if it catches us in the middle of a game or a movie and we don’t want to stop at all. realme also highlights its Quick Freeze system that optimizes applications and processes in the background, reaching up to 45 days of autonomy achieving minimal consumption when the smartphone is not touched.
On the other hand, video games are already everywhere, we can enjoy a frantic game at any time, connected with millions of players around the world. To support this, the realme 7i mounts the Helio G85 gaming processor, while the Redmi 9 uses the Helio G80 and the Poco integrates the Snapdragon 662.
The realme 7i comes in its version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage (expandable with microSD), the same configuration as the Poco M3, while the Redmi 9, at the same price (€ 149) we have 3GB of RAM. To opt for the 4 + 64GB version, your RRP goes up to € 179.
From gaming to mobile photography
The screens remain balanced in this ‘battle’, with 6.5-inch-size panels that occupy almost the entire front and with the integrated selfie camera as a drop-type notch in the central part. Huge, bright and immersive screens to consume movies, series, social networks and video games throughout the day.
And moving to the rear, we find the camera modules, all with multiple sensors.
The realme 7i includes a triple camera that ranges from ultra-wide angle to ultra-close-up photography, but without a doubt its star is the main 48-megapixel 26mm f / 1.8 sensor. It is accompanied by a 16mm ultra-wide-angle sensor and macro lens.
In the Poco M3 we lack the ultra wide angle, since it mounts the 48MP main camera, the 2MP macro and completes the rear set a 2MP depth sensor. While in the Redmi 9, the main wide-angle sensor goes down to 13MP and is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide angle, macro and depth sensor.
