We already have among us the long-awaited renewal of the OPPO Watch original, a watch that introduced ColorOS as a layer over Wear OS: the OPPO Watch 2 it is already official in China. The brand renews its range of smart watches betting on the Snapdragon Wear 4100 and for including a large number of sensors.
Competition in smartwatches It is fierce, there is no mobile brand that does not want to reserve a place in the wrist devices. OPPO is no stranger to this trend, there is the OPPO Watch to prove it. With design inspired by the Apple watch, and with high sports and hardware features, the renewal of the range comes with even more power, also with greater autonomy. Elegant, of great construction and with maximum power
The external appearance leaves no room for doubt: The OPPO Watch 2 continues to build on the style of the Apple Watch to build its essence. Of course, instead of the crown OPPO bets on two buttons on the right side of the device; keeping the aluminum case, the inner part for the sensors and the protection with toughened glass for the screen.
The OPPO Watch 2 is available in two sizes: 42 and 46 mm. The first model can be purchased with an option to 4G through eSIM, the second only has the 4G variant available. Both are practically identical in the rest of the characteristics.
The watch’s display stands at 1.75 inches (42mm) with a resolution of 372 x 430 pixels. The technology is AMOLED, it has curved glass on the edges (2.5D) and maintains a pixel density of 326 DPI.

The jewel of the watch is the Snapdragon Wear 4100, a SoC intended for smartwatches that has already proven its worth in models such as the TicWatch Pro 3. The processor is accompanied by 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage and offers the ColorOS Watch 2 layer. We still do not know if China has Wear OS (OPPO does not detail it on its website), although it will surely come with this operating system when it lands in Europe.
The OPPO Watch 2 offers recording of more than 100 sports, includes activity and sleep tracking, can measure blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), it has sleep and stress measurement, offers satellite positioning and an autonomy of up to ten days with its 360 mAh battery. That with a basic use, which with a “normal” use lasts up to 2.5 days, always according to brand data.
Price and availability of OPPO Watch 2
The new watch is official in China and will begin to be distributed there from today. We do not know when OPPO will make it official outside the Asian territory, but surely it will not take too long. In a matter of price, the OPPO Watch 2 part with the following costs:
- OPPO Watch 2 42 mm WiFi: 169.63 euros to change (1,299 yuan).
- OPPO Watch 2 42mm 4G: 195.74 euros to change (1,499 yuan).
- OPPO Watch 2 46 mm 4G: 261 euros to change (1,999 yuan).
