New exponent of OPPO’s Reno5 family on the table, this time with a surname that was unknown until now. We knew the terminals from the F series and also those of the Z series, but now the Chinese manufacturer has put into circulation a new sub-line within its catalog: the OPPO Reno5 K arrives.
We find similarities between this model and the Reno5 that gives name to this generation of the range although there are also differences. Snapdragon 750G and up to 12GB of RAM
OPPO’s new Reno5 K arrives sporting a processor manufactured by Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 750G that brings 5G and fast charging, and that also comes running at 2.2GHz. As graphic support, the Adreno 619 GPU, and as memory support we will have two versions of the phone for sale: 8GB / 128GB in its most modest version and 12GB / 256GB in the most powerful. Without microSD, which OPPO does not mount frequently.
For the screen, OPPO opts for OLED technology in a panel 20: 9 6.43 inches and FullHD + resolution, which results in 2,400 x 1,080 pixels for the user. This panel refreshes at 90Hz (180Hz on the touch panel) and offers 750 nits of maximum brightness and a contrast of 1,000,000: 1. In addition, it hides the fingerprint reader under it.
We come to photography and here we have a 32 megapixel front camera with an f / 2.4 lens and a quad rear camera, namely: 64 megapixels f / 1.7 for the main one, 8 megapixels f / 2.2 for the super wide angle, 2 megapixels f / 2.4 for the macro and 2 megapixels monochrome with f / 2.4 lens for depth readings.
On battery, the OPPO Reno5 K opts for a dual battery 4,300 mAh with fast charging of nothing more and nothing less than 65W. The Reno5 K arrives with Android 11 running under ColorOS 11.1 and with dual SIM 5G / 4G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, headphone jack and USB Type-C port for charging and file transfer.
Versions and prices of OPPO Reno5 K
The new OPPO phone appears for sale in three colors, two of them shades of blue and the other in black. The model will initially go on sale in China at a price yet to be determined, and which will probably be announced market to market.
