While we celebrate Christmas in Spain, Lets Go Digital has leaked what could be Oppo’s first roll-up mobile, a mobile that, in addition to cutting-edge technology, will have a special edition for fashion lovers.
Oppo’s roll-up mobile would arrive in a special edition signed by Tom Ford, an American designer who stood out for several years at Gucci and who currently has his own fashion line, in a direct attack on Samsung.
One of the technologies that has given the most talk during 2019 and 2020 has been the fever of folding mobiles, a trend led by Samsung by several ranges and followed by companies such as Motorola and Huawei (beyond others that came before Samsung such as Royole with results that left to be desired).
The basis of folding mobiles is that in the space of a normal mobile we can expand it to turn it into a tablet, but it also allows us to have a normal size mobile capable of folding and being more compact in the pocket, like the case of the Galaxy Z Flip.
Oppo is going for this concept of a normal size mobile capable of being compact with its roll-up mobile technology, technology that we saw a few weeks ago and that it seems that they will use in several models and not only in mobile phones capable of becoming tablets.
This model would also have a special edition of Tom Ford.
Not only does it go for Samsung by entering a category in which the Galaxy Z Flip was the only option, but also for the commitment of a fashion firm. Samsung also opted for a special edition of its folding by having a special edition of Thom Browne.
At the moment we do not know when this mobile will be presented or its technical specifications, but we love the idea of rolling mobiles, and it can become the true way forward in the most exclusive mobiles.
The entry Oppo is on the hunt for the most exclusive Samsung Galaxy Z Flip appears first in The Free Android.
