In that interview, the CEO of OnePlus reported that they are working on a watch and that in parallel they are working together with Google to improve Wear OS and their communication with their Android TV phones and televisions.
This would mean that OnePlus to launch a Wear OS-based watch but with the customization layer Oxygen. Google began to accept layers of customization in its watches, being the Xiaomi Mi Watch one of the examples.
