In recent weeks we have been discovering what the new phones will be that we will see officially announced next year. Among them was the Samsung Galaxy S21, which we saw for the first time yesterday in a video in which one of the units appeared.
Today it is the turn of another of the most anticipated high-end, the OnePlus 9, which has been seen exclusively on PhoneArena.
As usually happens in these cases, the design that has been seen in this unit is the one that had previously been filtered in the form of render and computer-created images.
In the case of the OnePlus 9 we have a mobile with only three sensors on the back. We say only because normally brands already choose to put four, although two of them are not relevant.
In this case, it has been leaked that the two main ones will be of the same resolution, surely 48 Mpx, and will be the angular and the wide angle. However, the data obtained by PhoneArena points to cameras of 48 and 16 Mpx.
In the
same area, but with a much smaller size, we have another sensor, which will surely be a macro or a depth gauge. OnePlus could go for a dual-magnification telephoto lens like it did on the OnePlus 7T, but that doesn’t look like that’s going to be the case.
In the front we have an OLED screen without curvature and with a perforation in the upper left part. It is very similar to what we have already seen in the OnePlus 8T.
In fact, it is a 6.55-inch panel, with FHD + resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, capable of playing content in HDR.
As for the technical specifications, it will have the new Snapdragon 888, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory (although there will surely be another model with more memory) and Android 11.
And don’t be surprised by the logo since OnePlus usually uses a different one for the prototypes and another for the production units that will end up being sold.
The OnePlus 9 entry uncovered: first real photos and specifications appears first in The Free Android.
