In summer the days are longer and the weather asks us at times to go out, and at times to stay where there is more shade so as not to die burned. But what is common to practically all mortals is that, for one thing or another, increase the time to do things, for our leisure, and we can dedicate part of the time earned to our mobile, to explore its different accessories and, of course, to play for a while and have fun.
So, we got down to work and asked our colleagues for the games they always carry, those games to which they dedicate some time whenever they have it free and that they cannot be installed on their phones. And the answers have been the following.
The essential games for Ricardo Aguilar
The game I’m playing the most hours right now is Kingdom rush. It is simple, but extremely addictive. It is a strategy game in which we have to place towers of magicians, archers, warriors and other troops in strategic areas of the map, so that the enemies do not penetrate our defenses. It is to hit the coconut, but hilarious.

My second option is Genshin Impact, although the map continues to grow and does not give me the life to spend more hours. Still, it seems to me the most graphically ambitious game for Android, a delight worthy of consoles.

The essential games for Iván Ramírez
Few things are as summery as classic hobby books: crosswords, sudoku puzzles, word searches … one of my favorite hobbies is the sudoku, and luckily there is no shortage of mobile versions. The truth is that most Sudoku games for Android are almost the same, but I prefer this veteran with 10 million downloads, with four levels of difficulty and without being as tiring with ads as other alternatives.

For when I have a little free time, nothing like a little Prince of persia, the reissue of the legendary game created by Ketchapp. As far as mobile game adaptations are concerned, it is one of the most successful, with good playability and very easy controls. The objective is the same as always, run, jump and not get impaled on the way before reaching the door on duty. Each level lasts about a minute, so it’s apt to fill any little boredom you find yourself in.

Holidays are an excellent time to recover from vices; like the games chained to the Alto’s Odyssey, one of my favorite mobile games. Although it is repetitive in itself, the truth is that its minimalist environment, full of color gradients, relaxes me. I still enjoy it like the first day.

Taking advantage of the free time of the holidays, I plan to resume my departure at the Genshin Impact. I find it incredible that a title of this quality and extension allows you to play for hours without paying a penny. And the developers have been expanding the already vast initial universe, double reason to return to my game

The essential games for Laura Sacristán
In summer, I tend to do hobbies in the style of self-defined, sudoku, or word searches, and this year, my choice has been Pixel art. They say that painting by numbers helps to release stress and the truth is that it entertains and relaxes me in equal parts (especially, if I play in a hammock, of course). It has ads and offers purchases, but it includes thousands of free drawings that you can color offline.

Another option I’m hooked on this summer is Sky: Children of Light. Personally, I think that on an aesthetic level it is one of the best games that exist in Google Play, but beyond its graphics, I am attracted by its social charge and its hard-working way of telling the story. Above, it is free and without ads.

{“videoId”: “x82qke1”, “autoplay”: true, “title”: “Bullet Echo Release Trailer”}
I mean, for me. I have left the last one to tell you that although I play less and less on my mobile phone (the PS5, Stadia and the tablet are to blame) there are a couple of games that are never missing in my library, and one of them is Bullet echo. Without a doubt, the game that has conquered me for months, a multiplayer shooter looter with a zenith perspective and, of course, Battle Royale mode. Although the latter is not very good at me. I recommend it to you.

The other essential for me is an old acquaintance of the mobile world but no less entertaining for that. It’s about 2048. A puzzle title with mathematical overtones that makes you squeeze the coconut to avoid blocking the boards. Although once you learn the mechanics, everything is much faster. Certainly always installed.
