ZTE’s range of phones has grown throughout this year with various models, including the Axon 20 5G, the first under-display camera phone. Although so far none of its devices have been launched in Spain. The brand today unveiled its new phone, the ZTE Blade A3Y, a device within its input range.
This new ZTE Blade A3Y follows in the footsteps of the Blade A3 Prime that was presented in summer. A very modest model, in the simplest range on Android, that stands out for having a removable battery. In addition, this model comes with Android 10 as the operating system.

A basic mobile
The ZTE Blade A3Y presents the same features that we saw a few months ago in the A3 Prime, only now it leaves us with a new purple color on the occasion of its launch with Yahoo! Mobile. Its design is simple, with a 5.5 inch LCD screen, with classic frames and HD + resolution in this case.
One of the surprises on the phone it’s your removable battery, something less and less common in the market, thanks to the cover on the back. The battery has a capacity of 2,660 mAh, which should give a good autonomy in this case. Another surprise is the presence of a fingerprint sensor on the rear, something unusual in the more modest range.
In terms of cameras, this ZTE Blade A3Y is modest: an 8 Mpx rear camera and a 5 Mpx front camera. Android 10 is the standard operating system on the phone. Its Helio A22 processor is one of the most modest in the MediaTek range, which helps keep its price low.
Price and availability
This new ZTE Blade A3Y goes on sale now in the United States from the hand of Yahoo! Mobile. In fact, the phone launches in purple, the familiar Yahoo! shade. It comes in a single version of RAM and storage, priced at $ 49 (€ 42 to change). It does not seem that this model will be sold in other markets, but we hope to know more about it.
