Two almost identical models
The launch of these terminals has been strange. The Vivo Y51 saw the light in December of last year, on the 7th in particular. The Vivo Y51A was announced today, in the same colors, with the same design and with exactly the same specifications, except for the processor.
The Vivo Y51 uses the Snapdragon 665, 10% more powerful than the Snapdragon 662 used by the Vivo Y51A.
Both have 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal memory expandable with micro SD up to 1 TB, a 6.58-inch LCD screen with 2400 x 1080 px resolution, fingerprint sensor on the side …
They are also identical in battery, with 5000 mAh and 18 W fast charging, and in cameras, with a 16 Mpx front sensor, an 8 Mpx main rear sensor and a 2 Mpx macro.
They will use Android 11 with the new Funtouch OS 11 interface.
Price and availability
The price of the Vivo Y51A is 17,999 Indian rupees, about 200 euros at the exchange rate. The Vivo Y51 costs exactly the same. The difference is that in the first one, buyers will be able to opt for a discount of 1000 rupees, just over 10 euros, and it will focus on offline sales.
