Vivo’s first smartwatch
The Vivo Watch features a circular dial design, where appropriate made of stainless steel. It is a classic design, which allows the watch to adapt to all types of users, beyond sports activity. In addition, being made of this material, it is presented as a watch that will resist scratches or bumps without any problem. The brand has presented two sizes in this case, one of 42 mm and the other of 46 mm. Both use AMOLED screen, with different sizes.
We are in front of a watch designed to carry a tracking the user’s physical activity. It has 11 sport modes (including swimming, walking, running, cycling…) and it is also in charge of monitoring the user’s sleep. In addition, it comes with a sensor to measure the heart rate at all times. The watch will count steps, calories, minutes of activity as well as the distance traveled. It also has functions that motivate the user to play sports, maintain good habits and provide advice on activities to follow, as well as reports with data on their activity.
This Vivo Watch arrives with NFC, which supports mobile payments in this way. It will be a differentiating element in this watch from the Chinese brand. In addition to NFC, it has Bluetooth 5.0, for its connection with the phone. The battery is another of its strengths, with a range of up to 9 days in the 42 mm model. In the case of the 46 mm model, the autonomy can be up to 18 days, thus being one of the watches with the longest autonomy on the market.
As an operating system, the brand has opted to use FunTouch OS, its own interface, for this watch. So they put Wear OS aside. Another aspect to highlight in this smartwatch is that it has a water resistance of 5 ATM, which means that it can be used in swimming, one of the sports that the watch detects.
