A new rear design

The new Samsung models have evolved, although not much, the front design of the S20. The frames are even smaller and the perforation of the front camera is maintained, 10 Mpx in the S21 and S21 + and 40 Mpx in the S21 Ultra.

The downside of the new models comes in the box. Rather, it does not come. The Gaalxy S21 will not include a serial charger, so we will have to use the ones we have at home to buy a compatible one if we want to squeeze the fast charge.

The best Samsung processor for the Samsung Galaxy S21

Another of the great changes of these models is its processor. Two days before unveiling the Galaxy S21 Samsung announced the Exynos 2100, the new high-end chipset that promises to be a revolution.

All three models will use this processor, with the advantages of connectivity and artificial intelligence that it implies.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is very different

But the star of the presentation has been the S21 Ultra. This model offers some features that its younger siblings do not have.

For starters, it has a quad rear camera system, with a 108 Mpx main sensor, a 12 Mpx ultra wide angle and not one, but two telephoto lenses. One of them is 3x magnification and the other 10x, both optical.

In this way, a greater distance range is covered, allowing the use of the smallest for portraits and the largest for landscape photography, urban photography, etc.

There are also changes to the screen, when using a QHD panel with a variable refresh rate from 10 to 120 Hz. And yes, we can use the screen with the maximum refresh rate and maximum resolution simultaneously.

The last big difference is in the support of SPen, the stylus of the Galaxy Note. For the first time a Galaxy S can be used with this accessory, which is sold separately and can be stored in a case for the S21 Ultra designed for it.

There are other minor changes, such as the support of Wifi 6E or being able to use the mobile as a car key through a future software update. The latter will also come to the S21 Plus.
