New Samsung Galaxy F62: a mid-range with a huge battery

Last October Samsung presented the first phone in its new Galaxy F range, the Galaxy F41, which has not yet been launched in Spain. This new range of phones seems to be destined for the Indian market and the firm leaves us today with the second model of this family: the Galaxy F62.

The new Samsung Galaxy F62 is a smartphone within the mid-range, which stands out for its huge 7,000 mAh battery, the largest in a phone of the brand. A model with good cameras, a fast processor and a reasonable price, which has everything to conquer this segment.

New Samsung Galaxy F41: a mobile focused on photography

Samsung has presented a new family of mobiles, the Galaxy F. The first of them is the Samsung Galaxy F41, with a 64 Mpx camera.

A mid-range with great battery

The battery is the aspect in which this Galaxy F62 excels the most, thanks to its 7,000 mAh capacity, which is not something we see a lot in the market. It also becomes the Samsung smartphone with the largest battery thanks to this. It also has support for fast charging of 25 W. Another aspect to highlight is the use of Exynos 9825 as a processor, a high-end processor from two years ago.

Samsung has opted for a current design in this phone, with a 6.7-inch size AMOLED panel, with a perforation in the upper central part, where we have a 32 Mpx camera. Very thin frames help make the user experience immersive and its Full HD + resolution will allow us to enjoy multimedia content in it at all times.

On the back of this Galaxy F62 we have four cameras: a 64 Mpx main sensor, a 12 Mpx ultra wide angle, a 5 Mpx macro sensor and a 5 Mpx depth sensor too. It is a good combination, with which we can take good photos in all kinds of situations. The phone already comes with Android 11 with One UI 3.1, the most recent version of the interface, which arrived in the Galaxy S21 as standard.

Price and availability

This new Samsung Galaxy F62 will go on sale in India on February 22, next Monday. For now there is no data on its possible launch in other markets, but it is quite likely that it will not leave this country. The phone is launched in blue, gray and green colors, in two versions of RAM and storage, the prices of which have already been confirmed:

• The model with 6/128 GB is priced at 23,999 Indian rupees (about 270 euros to change).
• The version with 8/128 GB is priced at 25,999 Indian rupees (about 295 euros to change).
